Collection of stories about the Johnson family during there stay on the Hill located in Atherton, California. Many of stories center on Church of Latter-day Saint themes. Peters assert that the stories were passed down from generation to generation in an effort to teach children correct and guiding principles. Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
